SALIK: Studies in Advancing Learning, Ideology and Knowledge is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility, preservation, and integrity of its published academic content.

SALIK recognizes that long-term digital preservation is an essential component of responsible scholarly publishing. The journal therefore supports appropriate digital archiving and preservation practices to ensure that published articles remain accessible to researchers, scholars, institutions, and the wider academic community over time.

SALIK is committed to maintaining the integrity and availability of its scholarly record through reliable digital preservation mechanisms and appropriate archival practices. Published content should remain accessible even in the event of changes to the journal's publishing platform, website infrastructure, or technical systems.

Where applicable, SALIK may participate in recognized digital preservation and archiving services, repositories, institutional repositories, national scholarly databases, or other appropriate preservation initiatives. Such services may include systems based on distributed digital preservation models, institutional repositories, and other recognized scholarly archiving infrastructures.

The journal may also deposit or preserve its published content and associated metadata in appropriate national or international repositories and indexing or preservation systems, subject to the policies and technical requirements of the relevant services.

Digital preservation may include the long-term retention of published articles, article metadata, bibliographic information, persistent identifiers, and other materials necessary to maintain the accessibility and authenticity of the scholarly record.

SALIK is committed to ensuring that its published content remains discoverable and accessible to the academic community and that appropriate measures are taken to minimize the risk of permanent loss of scholarly materials.

In the event that the journal's publishing platform becomes unavailable or undergoes significant technical changes, SALIK will make reasonable efforts to preserve access to previously published content through appropriate archival or repository services.

The journal will periodically review its digital preservation practices and may adopt additional preservation services or archival mechanisms as necessary to comply with evolving standards and best practices in scholarly publishing.

Through this policy, SALIK affirms its commitment to the long-term preservation, accessibility, authenticity, and integrity of the scholarly record.
