Focus and Scope

Aims

MURNI: Multidisciplinary Review of Nusantara Innovation is an international, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly research on innovation emerging from, inspired by, or relevant to the Nusantara region and its broader global contexts. The journal aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to examine how knowledge, technology, culture, society, education, and local wisdom interact in generating innovative solutions to contemporary challenges.

MURNI seeks to advance theoretically informed and empirically grounded scholarship that contributes to the understanding, development, and application of innovation across disciplinary boundaries. The journal particularly encourages research that connects Nusantara perspectives and local knowledge with contemporary scientific, technological, social, educational, economic, and cultural developments.

The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, conceptual papers, and theoretically informed studies that offer significant academic contributions, methodological rigor, and broader relevance to international scholarly debates.
